Our guys aren't getting all wobbly and neither should we.
This wonderful photo was sent to me by a friend. I'm forwarding it to those paragons of freedom of the press, al Jazeera TV and al Arabiya TV. It should provide a break from the steady diet of terror videos that continue to magically appear in their offices.
of course we remember 9-11...but we also remember that we invaded iraq for "wmd" which did not exist and that iraq had nothing to do with 9-11.
ReplyDeleteNot true geeekgirl.
ReplyDeleteThe chemical "wmd" that Saddam used on the Kurds were not found in Iraq, however, while the U.N. wasted time with sanctions, satellite photos document trucks carrying stuff (probably not Twinkies) into bordering Syria.
Saddam sponsored terror...from actively trying to buy yellowcake (regardless of what Ambassador Wilson said in his bogus report), to paying off the families of suicide/homicide bombers, to providing aid & comfort to terrorists looking for aid & comfort, such as abu Nidal,
abu Abbas, & al Zarqawi.
The sooner you begin to see the connection between Iraq, islamic extremists & global terror, the better our side will fare.
Thanks for your comments megablogger. I love the input.
ReplyDeleteTrucks carry "stuff" across borders everyday..."probably not twinkies" isn't a good enough reason to invade a country and destory it.
ReplyDeleteThe sooner you see the connection between our government creating global terror by the way we treat people in other countries the better the world will be. This is not the Super Bowl, it isn't about "sides".
The US isn't the source of global terror. Islamofascists who want the world to return to the 9th century under Sharia law are responsible. Peaceful co-existence isn't possible with that mindset.
ReplyDeleteAmerica didn't start this war, but we will finish it.
Geeekgirl, ask yourself this question: If, in fact, Saddam did not have any WMDs, which the world knew he had in 1991, and in 1996, why would he risk the destruction of his country in the face of an imminent invasion from coalition forces massing in Kuwait, rather than come clean? As Gen. Tommy Franks says, "It's hard to have a surprise attack with a 6-month buildup!"
