    I know of someone who is battling feral cats in his neighborhood. He's very afraid they're going to start spreading disease. Most of the neighbors seem to feel the same.

    giving kitties a bad name.

    bw: Your neighbor sounds kind of... um, how do I say this without offending... wimpy.

    If he's so afraid, tell him to set baited traps for the cats & have the local shelter pick them up.

    They will either be neutered/spayed & released, or euthanized.

    I hope they were not rabid but it sure does sound like that may be the case.
