Wikipedia Entry For Randolph Frederick Pausch
I bring up Dr. Pausch's passing not only because he was an inspiration to so many, especially with "The Last Lecture" speech, but because it caught my eye that he was a devoted Star Trek fan. In fact, Pausch was invited by film director J. J. Abrams to film a role in the upcoming Star Trek movie in which he also has a line of dialogue.
A kind of immortality, perhaps. I'll be watching for him.
RIP.
I'd better look him up. I only first heard of him 2 or 3 days ago.

I hope you all have a chance to see his talk, maybe there are more, but the one I saw was so important. He was one BRAVE guy with a terrific attitude toward life and dying.

I watched his speech awhile ago, and he was an inspiration.
His kids will always be so proud of their dad, and his loved ones will miss him terribly.

i bought his book the last lecture last week.finished reading it today.he's a great guy, ppl who had spent time with him must feel very special indeed.more than a yr ago, received a R&D report on FIR(Far InfraRed) usage to 'delete'(?)/ ELIMINATE CANCER N OTH DISEASE FM BODY.report was carried out by doctors over a period of on actual cancer patients; the object is a FIR 'log cabin' sauna.can fix inside homes.my desire exactly.it's a good hope as many good reports fm that..not only for that; overall health as so many of us r not getting rite ex/f&b/other pollution, etc.check it out!
