Blue Meanie Teacher?

West Feliciana Teacher Resigns Amid Accusations She Kicked, Slapped And Berated A First-grader

Accusations such as these, if true, make me very angry. Adults are responsible for taking care of children because children can't stand up for themselves. If this were my child, I'd be fit to be tied.

My first grade teacher was somewhat sadistic so I questioned my children a lot to make sure they were not subject to this treatment.

Jan has a good idea. Talk to your kids a lot.

As for this teacher. Wonder what kind of work they will be doing now. Not teaching.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

When I used to ask my father questions he would give me some things to read on the subject so I could make up my own mind. I love your picture at the top of this post.

However I do not love that teacher in the article. She has some obvious psychological problems.

Cube - I'm with you on this one.
This teacher should not be allowed to teach anymore. The parent needs to stand up for her child.

Jan: I was fortunate enough to have excellent teachers throughout my childhood, but it didn't stop me from keeping a vigilant eye on my daughters' teachers. Thankfully, they were, for the most part, good teachers.

Most of the cafeteria workers treated my girls as though they were their grandchildren. They never went hungry and were often spoiled with extra stuff. I never minded it one bit.

Sandee: At our house, dinner time was when we not only discussed the events of our day, but sometimes discussed the politics of the times.

We often had spirited discussions, but Mr. Cube and I made it clear to our girls, from an early age, that they were expected to gather the facts of an issue and make up their own minds.

Dinner time was often a good time at our house. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Granny Annie: He taught you to think for yourself. That's the way it should be and that's the way it was at our house.

I love the picture, too. It reminds me of the truly great teachers I was fortunate enough to have in my life.

The teacher in this article is an awful example of a teacher. Beyond all the physical abuse she's been accused of, which is bad enough, but can you imagine taking food from a child's lunch tray? Who would do something like that? She should look for a different career choice.

Sue Hanes: What an awful teacher and what an awful human being. I hope the parents are sticking up for their child... I would.
