A perfect read for a lazy Sunday. Clarice Feldman of The American Thinker rarely disappoints with this eyeful beneath the veil of leftist irrationality:
I’m Fighting the Left’s Culture War One Bagel At A Time
The election of 2016 was an example of how effective pushing back against progressivism's totalitarian need to "re-educate" us can be. Their side is still reeling from the loss and we've only just begun to fight the good fight.
I think we have felt outnumbered by the hysteria and name calling. No more.
ReplyDeleteYep, they are having a total meltdown. Remember when religious people wouldn't make cakes for gays. Not the dress designers refuse to dress the new first lady. The dems have lost their way.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ☺
I'm glad to hear others are thinking that....the left can only push SO MUCH with their idiocies and dishonesties...but what worries ME is that this isn't working with we who are over 40 but it still goes down well with indoctrinated teens and twenty-somethings, etc...they lap it up. They literally don't know better because they haven't been taught much about the Constitution or love of country. So this concerns me and I'm not sure we can REteach, can we??
ReplyDeleteWe can hope they learn, these young ones.
ReplyDeleteYes, just begun to fight the good fight.
ReplyDeleteThose who got off their couch to vote will come out again, even with a few Trump missteps as long as they have something to vote for and something to vote against.
TRUMP ! - Do some serious good for America. Let's let it ride.
Jan: No wonder. Look how well it worked out for the bakery that refused to make the gay wedding cake. The federal government pounced on them and they've been forced out of business. They're just one example. Say the wrong thing and you're ostracized as a bigot, homophobe, racist, anti-moslem. Most people don't want to incur legal fees, derision in the progmedia or loss of employment and prefer to keep mum.
ReplyDeleteI do sense an upcoming sea change with the PC police, but it's not just going to go away, at least, not without continuous pushback.
Sandee: The left is in disarray for now, but they're regrouping.
ReplyDeleteZ: I don't want to lose hope that these kids will be reached. If it becomes "popular" to revere our country, then the kids will move mountains to adapt themselves to it. Assimilation is easier on the youthful than the senior.
ReplyDeleteMessymimi: Like I told Z, assimilation is easier on the youthful. I think if nationalism becomes popular, they will rush towards it.
ReplyDeleteKid: Rah rah, sis boom bah! Yes! I'm psyched. Let's let it ride.
