In her elderly years, our beloved German Shepherd Dax started to stray from the yard & go visit our neighbor's dog, Panther, a Rottweiller. His owner would call us to come get her. Once we decided it was best to keep Dax inside unless she was supervised & she could no longer go visiting, Panther started coming to our house and we'd have to call his owner to come get him. We still haven't figured out the connection between those two dogs, but it was nice to know our neighbors were watching out for us.
