Do mummified cats really count on cat blog Friday, or is it cheating?
No new year resolutions - every new is a gift, every day is icing, that's good enough.
But I do always hope that each year will be better than the last; that a year will pass without the shadow of new griefs; that good things will happen for all of us; that my nearest & dearest will be safe.
A bit trite and an overly optimistic of me, I suppose, but they are reasonable hopes upon which to start a new year.
May you and your readers be safe & well & happy throughout 2006, and if you have your share of dazzling moments of joy that would be excellent too.

ReplyDeleteMy goal for the New Year is to learn another language. Last year's resolution (being more tolerant of Liberal-wackos) didn't work out too well.
