Moonshot

A Montgomery County judge ruled Tuesday that the act of mooning is not illegal in Maryland, clearing a man accused of indecent exposure after showing his buttocks to a neighbor during an argument.

"If exposure of half of the buttock constituted indecent exposure, any woman wearing a thong at the beach at Ocean City would be guilty," said Judge John W. Debelius III.

And throughout the land there was a collective sign of relief from plumbers and refridgerator repairmen.

  1. I saw that! Weird. I think there's definitely a difference in intent there.

Didn't mean to step on any math geek's toes. I'm sure the latest addition to our known list of prime numbers will make a huge difference in the area of world poverty or bring about a cure for cancer or something... ;-)

  2. Some judges are just too addled to be on the bench. It's a good thing we don't count on them to do math!

  3. So is there some sort of standard that's in place to constitute indecent exposure? So half the moon is not. How much crack does a person need to expose in order to get charged?

    Now he's opened the floodgates.

  4. I saw this young girl with lowrise, baggy pants on today at the story. She bent down to get something and the top few inches of her cracked showed. It was just, plain hitonious! Crack kills, people!!!!

  5. LOL. Good ol' Montgomery County, MD...where I grew up (hence my love for the Skins)....glad it's still legal. I know a bunch of pals from high school are probably breathing a sigh of relief. ;)

  7. You know what, unless you grabbed the commentary in your entry from somewhere else, my local newscaster reads your blog and used your quote word for word.

  8. I quoted the judge. The part about plumbers & refridgerator repairmen being relieved by the decision was mine. Repairman cracks are such a universal wellspring of humor that I'm sure it occurred to many people.
