Yesterday, for the 57th time, a devoted fan of Edgar Allen Poe has commemorated Poe's birthday by leaving roses & cognac at the writer's grave ...inside a locked cemetary at the corner of Fayette & Greene in Baltimore
...while 25 on-lookers tried to catch a glimpse of the mysterious figure.
oooh creepy. Quoth the raven, they'll discover him, "Nevermore" (sorry that's the best I could come up with this morning, pretty sad I know)

Cube,nah, Lenore was out all night with her friend Annabelle Lee, they were hanging out at the new trendy bar, "The Pit and the Pendulum", so their alibi is air tight.

ReplyDeleteYou would have to imagine that the tradition has been passed between friends or family memmbers, rather than it being the same individual for 57 years. That would be my guess.
