Atomic wedgie? Nope, but a teacher giving a student a wedgie is bad enough without it being one of the atomic variety.
From WNYT in Albany comes this story about a male 41-year-old charter school teacher giving a 10-year-old male student a wedgie.
Another example of life imitating an episode of Seinfeld.

I know Americans are getting bigger, as are Aussies, but that's one seriously beefy 10 yr old. What's a "charter" teacher? A pretend teacher?

A charter school is a private school, but not necessarily religious-based.
In fact it's a little know secret that the wedgie was the inspiration behind the fashionable butt floss known as a thong whose reference was once only recognized as a form of beach footwear.
