Linda Greene of Moon Township, Pa., discovered this heart-shaped potato in February which, incidentally, is also Potato Lover's Month. It's also the month of the tuber star Mr. Potato Head's recognized birthday, Feb. 5.
Ms. Greene, a fan of hearts, saved the Valentine-shaped spud from certain death by french fry.
You mean to say I have been ignoring Mr. Potato Head's b-day all this time?! I wonder what this woman will sell it on ebay like you see all those Jesus images on potatos chips on there.

ReplyDeletecaz: I agree. I love potatos year round, but February was designated Potato Lover's Month by Congress after growers lobbied for a way to sell more potatoes during a slow month. Who knew there was a slow potato month?
