Splat!

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad boasted today that Iran had mastered the entire nuclear fuel cycle and that it would give an "historic slap" to any attacker.

Hmmmm, where's that fly swatter.

  9. Ahmadinejad might be bloviating, but we've been down that road before with other jihadomaniacs.

  10. IMO Ahmadinejad is playing 'bad cop' for Iran while supreme leader Rafsanjani (the real power) sits back & watches the world's reaction & can act as the 'good cop' if it is useful to Iran. Ahmadine-nutjob is just too crazy to take seriously.

  12. Unfortunately, events in the middle east in recent years would make any leader a bit paranoid.
too bad it has come to this. Will the earth go off its axis if that whole part of the planet gets blown up? Hmmm, I wonder.

  13. A few years ago, my daughter made a computer game up. It was a fly buzzing across the screen with Hubby's head on it. It was the funniest thing! This post reminded me of it.

I wish someone would smash Iran's prez. Where's a good sniper when you need him?

  14. I liked the Howard quote from a couple of days ago, paraphrased:

The US and her allies have been criticized for acting without the UN in the case of Iraq. We are now testing the ability of the UN to act. It is an important test, and we want the UN to have every chance to succeed.

    heh.
