Record Pi

Man Recites Pi To 100,000 Places .

Akira Haraguchi, 60, a Japanese mental health counselor, needed more than 16 hours to recite the number to 100,000 decimal places, breaking his personal best of 83,431 digits set in 1995.

A mental health counselor?

I love Pi. I love reading Pi facts, but even I think this takes the cake.

"Tis a favourite project of mine
A new value of pi to assign.
I would fix it at 3
    For it's simpler, you see,
    Than 3 point 14159."
