I'd err on the side of parody, given that it was recorded in English, and, therefore, the target audience is English speaking countries, and YouTube. Also the lyrics seem more atuned to Western humour? But that's probably an ignorant thought on my part.

Brilliant! Especially since the news were from my home country. It was a german music workshop in Kabul, where one of teh women was so excited about the drums, that she formes a group. Thank you for this and I hope you don´t mind I transferred this video to my blog :)
Michael will still be able to grab his crotch through all those yards of material, so his performances should still be riveting. I was really worried about that.
