  1. A mighty huntress! Or hunter, I suppose.

All but one of my Pampered Four won't deign to hunt. Spoiled things!

  2. Paca loves the hunt! The lizards and roaches(it is Florida, don't get weird on me)get deposited under my rocker in the bedroom. At 8 months she tried to kill a field mouse that got in. She had mousy fur on her anyway, she only weighs 9 #s, but she is a ferocious huntress!
I love the expression on that putty-tat's face!

  3. We used to have an orange declawed cat that could catch mice no problem.

  4. Okay, that's a stunt mouse, right?

No real mice were harmed in the making of this Cat Blog Friday?

    Not that I like mice.

Actually I don't like mice at all.

  7. tmw: My cats eat a lot of their prey. Only occasionally do we find a body.

steve: Having claws definitely help, though.

caz: lol! Yes, absolutely! *look around nervously* No mousies were hurt ;-)

I did save a cute little field mouse from one of my cats once. It was just the cutest little thing.

My cat wasn't happy with me that day.

  9. When I was a teenager I had a cat who would disembowel mice and bring them to me, still alive.

    What a good cat!

  11. Yeah Cube, my ginger puddy is just so .. well he is a real orange color . Reminds me of a lion.

    Very docile and cuddly though.
Has orange eyes to match his fur!
And a fluffy tail like a fox.

  12. Yikes! Poor little mousey. I have five cats and I don't let them out of the house precisely because if they were to kill something, I'd probably want to throttle them.

  13. I wonder what PETA would think about that??

  14. j.d.: PETA doesn't think. That's their major problem ;-)
