A Rosie View

Lucianne's son, Jonah Goldberg, has a hilarious article RE: Rosie's latest nutjob rant about 9/11...

The 'Queen Of Nice' Goes Nuts

Rosie's rants are growing increasingly ignorant. Now she's contradicting real metallurgists!

Goldberg calls for Rosie's firing from The View, but I hope he doesn't hold his breath. I mean since when has the vain and vapid BahBwha ever had any journalistic integrity? Remember interview with questions like, "If you were a twee, what kind of twee would you be?

The scatterbrained ninnies on The View give women everywhere a bad name and they don't speak for me.

  3. brooke: So true. How about this caption:

"Wosie, let me use the flab-power of your double chins to communicate with the awiens."

  4. jen: I think we are the only 2 people on Earth who think this way, but I do remember a time, a long, long time ago, back when Rosie was just starting out as a stand-up comic, when she was funny.

To me a comic has to be funny... I give them a lot of leeway with the material as long as they're funny.

Rosie hasn't been funny in a long time.

  5. Ah, perhaps the moral of the story is that one should not invite comedians to provide analysis about the world, unless they are deliberately being funny.

See, as part of a comedic routine, and delivered with just the right tone, that line about steel melting could have been very funny.

I'll have to remember to tell by big brother: he works in a steel mill, driving a big crane and dumping tonnes of steel into ... OMG, a smelter!!! :-D

Way more than 20 years he's been doing that.

Can't say I ever liked Rosie, but appreciate that others may have enjoyed her earlier work.

Mouthing off with crap frothing at the edges isn't really work though, is it?

    Heck, I could do that.

  6. caz: Rosie's foam-flecked metallurgical analyses make a mockery of those folks, like your brother, who actually know what they're talking about.

    She's just a pinhead.

  7. She's truly a hatemonger.
Her tone is so strident, and she is overly bossy.
I guess ABC keeps her on the show because she creates a lot of controversy and makes the news.
Oh well, I don't watch The View, so it doesn't much matter to me what they do and say there.
I hear her comments via clips from talk radio and other sources.

  8. j.d.: I've never seen the show myself, but I'm afraid that there are tons of non-critical thinkers out there watching The View & soaking up this nonsense.

It is hard for me to believe anyone in there right mind would believe such nonsense.

    Hugs

  10. raggedy: It's hard for me to believe too, but it doesn't pay to underestimate the power of large groups of stoopid people...
    look at the 2006 elections.
