Second Wildfire Breaks Out In Georgia Swamp; Florida Fires Still Raging The fires are raging and the smokey haze we saw on Tuesday is back in spades. It's so bad, I just received an instant alert from my youngest daughter's school to pick her up because the air quality inside her school is being affected.
I'm praying for some rain.
I guess that means Florida gets an R rating?
ReplyDeletegosh sorry to hear its so bad!..thanks for the words of encouragement btw Cube..!:)
ReplyDeleteGov. Crist even asked Floridians to start praying for rain! At least he's looking in the right direction!

Wow, the only times I've been there, I found myself thinking that Florida was far too wet to burn. I guess I was wrong!
ReplyDeleteWe had bad haze here from the "Hayman" fire a few years back. The sun was red all day, and so were everyone's eyes. It was bad.
Hope you get rain soon!
I had no idea it was that bad...I heard something in the news, but not the entire story it seems.
ReplyDelete*sends a prayer for rain too*
should we dance? seems to work for some tribes. Just sayin´!
woman: Glad to help.
ReplyDeletetmw: Every litttle bit helps.
jen: During the rainy season, Florida is too wet to burn. We haven't had enough rain lately and the ground is crunchy dry.
minka: Prayer, rain dance... every little bit helps.
I'll pray for a nice tropical storm! (No damage, of course!)
ReplyDeletebrooke: We were hoping T.S. Andrea would provide a few showers, but she fizzled out.
