Buck Up, Ellen

I saw the clip of Ellen Degeneres' meltdown and I kept thinking, "Get A Grip!"

For Pete's sake, what is she going to do if something really bad happens to her?

Am I being insensitive?

  1. I agree with you completely. I am an avid animal lover and wish that ALL animals had a loving home but ffs get over Ellen.

  3. Celebs have such sheltered and 'fixed' lives, they don't remember what reality is like!
ellen is a crybaby, like that spoiled brat who doesn't know how to handle losing! :sheesh:

  5. If this wasn't a ploy for increased viewers, then what she needs is professional help.

  6. kristeen: I know. I love animals too, but this idiotic bawling is over the top.

angel: I don't watch her show. I just caught the clip on the news. It made me cringe.

tmw: Funny how (liberal) Ellen was hung out to dry by a (liberal) animal adoption organization. Ze rules are meant to bee followed!!!

mark: Really. Ellen should join the real world where people read the fine print.

mustang: All those celebrities are on therapy. Maybe she needs rehab ;-)

  8. I think everyone in this situation overreacted.

See what happens when the firecrotches are silent for a few days? This is the kind of "news" we get. :)

  9. A renown Hillary supporter.Ellen has donated 1000.'s to Hillary. A glimpse of whats to come if you let the Jackal win.

  10. nanc: The girls who had the dog taken away weren't this upset. Just buck up.

beckeye: Yes, much overreaction over non-news.

wally banners: I'll do my very best to keep that from happening.

  11. Excellent observation BeckEye: I hadn't twigged that we were getting blanket coverage of Ellen and her tears because there's a dearth of drink-driving celebutards on the loose.

Surely there's a naked tree somewhere in America that wouldn't have objected to standing still for some picks, and giving an in-depth interview?

Yep, all totally over-cooked. And it's wasted tears anyway, since the Mum's & Mutts group (or whoever they are), have already given the dog to another family.

Must admit, on that latter point: aren't they a bit, well, churlish? Ellen may have lost the plot, but the Mum's group is acting like they're handing out orphaned babies for goodness sake.

  17. You aren't being insensitive. If you sign a contract you have to abide by it, even if you are a rich celebrity. I actually like Ellen, but in this instance we're getting a good indication that she's just as delusional and out-of-touch as most other celebs. Grow up, Ellen. It's not like they took the dog out behind the barn and shot it.
