Can Your Hear Me Now?

Artist Implants 'Third Ear' On His Own Arm

The Cypriot-born eccentric Stelios Arcadious spent 10 years searching for a surgeon willing to create the ear in a lab from cells and then implant it onto his skin.

Arcadious is now hard at work looking for a surgeon willing to implant a functioning brain into his numbskull.

  1. Really. I just don't understand some people's extreme need for attention.

  2. You know, he kind of reminds me of a younger version of Frank Romano of "Everybody Loves Raymond", don't you think?

I know what Frank would say about an artist transplanting an ear onto his arm... Holy Crap!!!!

  8. That is totally freakish!

Can you imagine if he's ever incoherent and can't explain to an ER doc why he has an ear on his arm?

  9. Ok, that's just nasty. Although I guess I can think of organs I'd like to see EVEN LESS on someone's arm.

  11. I think a mouth or eyes would be creepier(anyone see Pan's Labyrinth?), but part of me thinks that's kind of cool; it's like he did Photoshop in real life and turned himself into a Dali painting.

And I totally thought it was the late, great Peter Boyle as well when I first scrolled to it.
