Nipplegate



The WrestleMania banner on the side of the Lynx building in downtown Orlando shows wrestlers without their nipples.

Yikes!

They were airbrushed out because someone assumed there was a city ordinance against their display.

Huh?

Wrestlemania's Lead In: 'Nipplegate'

For the record, there is no city law that bans the display of male chests in Orlando, or anywhere else in Florida.

    Yeah, I would be soooo offended by a mail Wrestler's nipple. So happy we've got photoshop so I won't have to look at human body parts...ROFL

    This is probably the result of the ridiculous furor over Janet Jackson's nipple peek a few years back. I still don't understand what the hell is so evil about the human body that gets some folks so hyper about seeing parts of it. Geez.

    I think the biggest problem with Janet Jackson's nipple exposure was that it happened during a family event. It was a nipple seen 'round the world. Talk about exposure.

    I think the problem with the WWF banner was that the male nipples (mipples?) would've been as large as hubcaps and they were told not to be provacative. Go figure.

    The problem with JJ was that the show was basically presented as soft porn during a 'family show', as Cube said.

    Nipples as large as hubcaps? LOL!

    Really, the lack of the nipples is weird and probably attracts more attention than if they were there.
