Russell Who?

Russell Brand Calls George Bush A 'retard' At MTV Awards

Who is this Brit retard calling a retard and why is he telling Americans how to vote?

Oh, I see... another friend of Obama.

  3. Fortunately, not all Brits are retards. There are some, based on commentary I have read, who see Palin as a Thatcher and McCain as a Churchill. Two 'Brits' I greatly admire. Concerning this retard Brand's comments of Bush and his telling US how to vote, a hot BRANDing iron applied to his seat of knowledge would give him something to talk about from experience.

MTV, another demonrat obomanation propaganist tool.

  4. "Acknowledging the criticism, Brand joked about his lack of fame in the US: "My persona doesn't really work without fame. Without fame, this haircut could be mistaken for mental illness."

    Um... I don't think they'd be mistaken.

Nanc, I'd pay GOOD money to see Gary dot an eye or two! >:)

Anonymous, I used to work with a former British Marine who'd immigrated here. He was quite conservative, and used to launch into HUGE tirades about how the left here is trying to take us to the uselessness of most of Europe's govt.

  6. This guy could play the woman in the SuperBowl commercial... just rub some cashews on him.

nanc: I agree. The Euros have nothing to say about our country, not with their "disaffected youth" problem.

    jill: Exactly.

anonymous: I greatly admire Thatcher & Churchill. They are not in the same league as this cretin. Not by a long shot. I do approve of your treatment for Mr. Brand.

brooke: No one would mistake this dude for an intellectual. Not from his looks or his speech.

shover: I agree. They have their own problems. I read today where their PM has come out for Nobama.

  9. Holy Moses, what a bad hair day he is having!!! I wouldn't trust him to take out the garbage, much less accept advice on who to vote for.

  10. Come ON, cube..wouldn't YOU want to vote for a guy THIS man advocates? After all..Obama's got this guy's fans, Farrakhan, Hamas, Ayers, Wright and Susan Sarandon...and you're voting for MCCAIN/PALIN?!

(smile!) man, I can't stand this guy. I've seen bad hair days, but this guy wrote the BOOK!

  11. Probably the worst thing we can do is give this cretin credibility by discussing him. I do have to give the Brits credit, several of the national papers have been high on Palin. So they have some class. He definitely does not represent the citizens.

  13. I'll offer a slightly different perspective. I think Russell Brand is utterly innocuous. His type of comedy is so silly, so utterly banal, that I think his "retard" remark was little more than a pop culture reference. I'm not sure if he's doing a "take" on the role of a brain-dead pop-rock Brit or if he really IS a brain-dead pop-rock Brit... either way, he usually makes me laugh and rarely ever makes me think. Check out his performance in the movie "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." He's the best thing in a very funny (if utterly vulgar) movie.

  18. nanc: Rosie O & Michael Moore together could probably circle the globe, but I have no quibble with this guy's weight. It's his hideous face that strikes me. My goodness, he isn't someone I'd like to run across in some dark alley. I'd die of fright.

  20. You know, I'm getting really tired of this double posting crap. I hit the frickin' publish button and, for what seems like a really long time, nothing happens, so I hit the frickin' publish button again.

    Yeah.

I postulate that something similar to this is what caused Kim Jong Il's cerebral hemorrhage.

    Yeah.
