From the New York Times comes this article about President Bush hosting the Obamas at the White House:
A Visit Both Historic And Perhaps Awkward
Thing is, the title of the article was changed, yes changed from this:
"Obama Will Visit Bush, Watching Out for Tacks on Chairs in Oval Office"
I kid you not.
Ahhh. The old "tack on the chair" trick! Those clever White House staffers!
ReplyDeleteThis will be standard for the New York Slime. For the record, Bush is showing far more class in the transfer than the Clintonistas did. He has ordered his staff not to vandalize the White House like the Clinton staffers did when they left. Naturally this comparison will be lost in the media.

ReplyDeleteWell, considering what happened in the Oval Office during the Clinton Administration, tacks really aren't that bad. I imagine the Bush family had to bring in a biohazard team to clean that place up. :-P

One thing's for certain, Pres. Bush and Laura have been classy from start to finish. They will go out with quiet style and without fanfare.
