Starface

"I Lied," Kimberley Vlaeminck 56 Tattoos Admittal

I knew this story was fishy when I first read about it. Nobody falls asleep getting that many tattoos.

Turns out she wanted the 56 star tattoos plastered over her face.

Go figure.

  1. Actually it's kind of a striking look if it weren't so...permanent.

  2. It is a striking look. So get some realistic-looking tattoos that you can stick on but aren't permanent. You can wear them a few days & be done with it.

There's not much going on between this poor girl's ears, I'm afraid, or she would've deduced this on her own.

  3. My Bear got a tattoo on her calf and wore long pants even in summer for a year and a half because she was afraid of what her dad would say.

Kids... what tests they give us! But at least Bear's tattoo can be covered up! Yikes for that face.

  4. I don't know if that makes it any better. In fact, it makes it worse

  6. Ananda Girl: At least she can cover it up. This girl is in deep doo doo come job interview time, etc., or any situation that requires a semi-professional image.

I entertained the idea of a small, inconspicuous tattoo back in the day, but my fear of needles made me procrastinate until tattoos became so common that they weren't special anymore. I'm over that.

  7. Gifted Typist: Really. I don't know which is worse either.

Nanc: heh heh. She "waffled" when her father & boyfriend (or should I say ex-boyfriend) reacted negatively to her new face. Yikes!

  8. She's an artist. We should admire her for her courage and desire to be different, and to non-conform to those things we think are normal.

  9. I think what's funny is that she was dumb enough to think that her original explanation of 'I fell asleep' would convince her dad.

...and did you see the face of the freaky guy who put the stars on there? ~shudder~

  10. Honestly, I don't think tattoos are a good idea at all. But if somebody is going to get one, it seems like the face has to be just about the worst place to get it.

  11. She woke up too early...Only one more star and she'd have one for each Isalmic state.

  12. She LIED? I hadn't heard that..oh, man.
    Imagine wanting that?

  13. Steve Harkonnen: I didnt know she was an artist, but that doesn't alter the fact that one day she might decide to be something less artistic and she's stuck with this statement smack dab in the middle of her face.

She's a young girl and she has essentially marred her face for life. I hope she doesn't wake up one morning and regret it because the change won't be easy.

  14. Kath Lockett: No I haven't seen him yet, but you have certainly planted a bug in my head to look him up for sure.

Ratty: So true. If you must have a tattoo, put it where the sun don't shine.

Larry Durham: I don't think that's what she was thinking about, but then again, this girl wasn't all that into thinking, so who knows.

Z: Aren't they absolutely hideous looking? They are abominable cars.
To me, they will forever be referred to as Yeti or Bigfoot cars ;-)

    ?????

Obviously cube, you and I don't frequent the same Indonesian cathouses.

Actually, I wanted to go metal, but due to the economy I can't afford the jewelry. So instead I just got a nipple ring tattoo. It looks real.
