Deadly Joke

At the risk of sounding insensitive, when I first saw the above headline, I thought Ernest Scribbler, writer of the world's most deadly joke, was at it again.

UMMMM...One would have thought that at some point, someone amongst this group of friends going out on a boat would have asked the simple question..."can everyone swim?"

  2. Idiots. This tragedy didn't have to happen.

You don't horse around like that on a boat.

  3. Patrick Carroll: Good point. Didn't anyone on the boat know how to swim? It's unbelievable to me that four men drowned! Perhaps there was alcohol involved...

  4. Karen Howes: I agree. Thank goodness the children left on board had access to a cell phone and were able to call for help.

  6. I'd bet my paycheck that, in some sort of way, beer was involved.

  7. Jan: lol. My thinking as well.

Steve Harkonnen: Ditto. I mean, someone gets pushed into the water, why on earth did 3 other men drown? I don't think we're hearing the whole story. It smells fishy, to me.
