Did Dupnik Dimiss Loughner Threat?

The more the sheriff speaks, the less he says.

  1. The man is a starstruck fool, a total embarrassment to law enforcement everywhere.

How not to conduct a murder investigation 101.

The ones who echo him are infinitely more stupid, but few watch them anyway.

  2. I read this earlier... and I have to say the whole matter makes me ill.

What happened to protect and serve with this man?

  3. I agree with Jan. The Sheriff needs to start doing his job and stop playing politics.

  4. Jan: Agreed. The sheriff likes the sound of his own voice a bit too much for sure.

I'm more concerned about his lack of professional acumen that he would discuss the particulars of a case BEFORE he has any evidence and at the possible cost of giving the defense attorney reason for a mistrial.

  5. Ananda Girl: Same with me. Some of the stuff I've read about this sheriff and his department leave a lot to be desired.

    He's no Joe Arpaio!

Teresa: From subsequent interviews, it doesn't sound like the sheriff is all that conducive to stop the politics. He is quite unapologetic about his liberal views.

  7. If Dupnik is an example of law enforcement in Pima County, it's no wonder the ranchers are up in arms. This guy makes Barney Fife look like Sherlock Holmes.

  8. I think the people of Pima County should be screaming for this dude to step down.

  10. you are correct about dopenik.

    This is worth reading:

There is some good satire regarding dope-nik in it, and an important message as well

  11. Karen Howes: Boss Hogg, yes. Good analogy only this sheriff isn't as humorous.

Bob Mack: Agreed. Dupnik needs to take an example from the next county over. Sheriff Joe Arpaio can teach him how to behave as a professional lawman.

  12. Chuck: I heard this morning that the liberal local paper is lambasting the sheriff. I think he may have gone too far this time.

Annoying Joe: Snow cone yes, yummy no ;-)
