This eagle's look is the perfect illustration of the spirit of the Founders of our exceptional country... Don't mess with our freedom and we'll get along.
Keep it in your hearts while you celebrate with your families this weekend.
Wishing you all a safe and happy Fourth!
I agree. That magnificent and photogenic bird is much better than the dove or turkey (other contenders) would have been.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I've been close to Bald Eagles after several Busch Garden bird shows (yes, the trainers love to entertain bird groupies afterwards if you ask nicely). I don't like to throw the word "awesome" around lightly, but in this case, I was struck by their awesome appearance in real life.
ReplyDeleteCube - Wise words for the 4th of July weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou have a great celebration too.
I heard an interesting item on the radio today... a pole done by one of the universities, that shows conservatives celebrate the birth of our country and what it means with great gusto...
ReplyDeletewhile liberals use the date as a reason to party in general.
At our home, old glory will be flying and the cost of our freedom and all it gives us will be celebrated as the focus of the day.
Happy 4th of July to you and the other cube forms in your home.
Oops... spelling blunder! Make that "poll" not pole. Sheesh.
ReplyDeleteI have a bazillion photos of them. They flock like pigeons in some areas of the North.
ReplyDeleteSo true. Great photo. Great bird. Great country.
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day! Celebrate freedom!
ReplyDeleteLove the American Bald Eagle -- fearsome and fearless.
