Eyebrow Toupees?

Apparently Ron Paul had an eyebrow malfunction at the latest GOP debate...

Raising Eyebrows

I had never even heard of this before. Does anyone else think this is crazy loony!

  1. Cube - I like this story because it started my day out with a smile.

Funny, because I usually do not smile or laugh until the end of the day.

I hold a special place in my heart for Ron Paul - false eyebrows and all. :-)

  2. I'm glad I made you smile early, Sue. It's never too early to have a laugh.

As far as Ron Paul goes, I always thought he was a bit loony, but this eyebrow toupee thing makes me conclude that he is bats**t crazy.

  3. The NYT is always on top of the important issues like this.

  4. Cube - Now, I said that I have a special place in my heart for Ron Paul - that has nothing to do whether he should ever be president - or even whether he is bats**t crazy.

There is room in my heart for all sorts of people. :-)

  5. Jan: We can always count on the NYT for the relevant issues of the day ;-)

Sue Hanes: There is room in my heart for all kinds of people too... just not Ron Paul when he's running for office. If he were just working as a doctor or sitting on his Lazy Boy, I wouldn't have any problem with him at all.

  6. Oh my goodness, how embarrassing. I have seen false eye lashes, toupees but never false eyebrows, except on a Vulcan.

  7. LOL! I've never heard of such a thing, but I have known some people (my X) who had no obvious brows at all. I swear they were flesh toned.

What an unfortunate happenstance! Toupees or just droopy. I did get a great laugh out of this.

Barney Frank has some crazy eyebrows!
But then I think he's a different kind of crazy.

  9. Leticia: Gluing on fake eyebrows was
news to me too. I'd never heard of such a thing. Not even with Vulcans in disguise! I have resorted to covering the end of my eyebrows with concealer and just drawing my eyebrows pointing up. Halloween is just around the corner.

  10. Silly Rabbit: When I think of unruly eyebrows, I think of Andy Rooney. When I think of no eyebrows, I think of Whoopie Goldberg who maniacally plucks them from her head because of nerves.

  11. Teresa: I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I did :-)

  12. I get tired of the vanity. Are his eyebrows really that important to him? Is this where our national elections have gone?

  13. I think he would have been better off if he did pencil in his own eye brows? Bless his heart.

  14. LOL!

Most men his age are trying to get rid of wayward hair.

  15. I am bald as a billiard ball and there is no way I'm going on a stage without my wig. Even if it is crooked, I will look better. It's difficult to go in public with falsies of any kind and my parents always taught me it's not polite to comment:)

  16. I've seen so many men his age with those really long eyebrows dipping down just like that I'm sure it's not eyebrow toupees with him but it's hilarious to consider they exist!
But, if it's NOT, what the heck did that guy blame it on ALLERGIES for? ALLERGIES make old men's long eyebrows droooooP?

  17. Leticia: I think you're right. Pencil those babies in...don't reinforce them lackadaisically and then suffer the embarassing drooping brow on TV.

  18. AOW: lol. Case in point: Andy Rooney. I don't blame Paul for his eyebrow inadequacies, I think it's a personal problem that he should've handled better.

BTW even if his eyebrows were perfect, I wouldn't vote for him.
