Always On Watch: Glad you liked it. I was glad to share such a feel good story especially given all the insanity in the world today.
I may be prejudiced, but I think every person should have a pet. I know about allergies and all that, but there are pets that can accommodate those illnesses.
BTW what is your ginger's name? I may have already seen a photo. If not, well then you know what to do ;-)
A friend of mine who is a recovered (as much as one can recover) alcoholic has always said that his dog, that he got as a rescue adoption, really rescued him. I do believe that animals are treasures and great support. Best of luck to Bob and his man!
sweet...I'm all out of kitties these days. Must reconsider. I miss mine (the MOST perfect cats EVER, of course :-)) too much to think 2 other cats could come close...dumb as that probably sounds!
Silly Rabbit: I agree. Pets give back so much more than they take. I feel sorry for those people who don't have pets.
Z: I think you're ready for a new cat in your life. You'll never replace your perfect kitties, but you'll make new memories with your new perfect kitty.
What a great Cat Blog Friday post. I hope he stays clean.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful story, Cube!
ReplyDeleteThe power of a pet to change lives is remarkable.
PS: I have a ginger cat, BTW.
Pet Power!!! Oh the stories so many can tell of their healing animals. Don't know how I could have overcome the loss of my mother without my dog
ReplyDeleteSlim.
Jan: Me, too. Just in case, I hope Bob lives to be a very old tom cat.
