For this Cat Blog Friday... when it was just announced that the US Jobless Rate Falls To 7.8 pct., A 44-month Low

... a fortune teller cat who predicts this ridiculously low rate will soon be revised upwards, but quietly and without media fanfare. The fix is on.

She also predicts a happy Friday for anyone who reads this.

Now, cross her paw with silver... or tuna, whichever is handy.

    Jan: There are two sets of people who would welcome such change... fools and those who believe they will be among the elite and thus protected. Sometimes those sets form a subset that includes the two groups. Biden and many journolists come to mind.

    Oh, now, Cube...four years of lousy jobless numbers...2 days after a debate where Romney kept saying "over 8%" and suddenly, SUDDENLY, the number IS below 8%....
    that's just a COINCIDENCE, don't you think? (as IF it's a coincidence!)
    And THIRTY DAYS before the election?

    Did the media really believe we would be fooled by those numbers? Right after the butt whooping Obama received.

    They had to do something to save face, but that was another epic fail. The public is not that gullible, well, some are, but not all of us.

    We weren't fooled for a second.
