Margaret Thatcher: In Every Sense A Leader

Sadly, they don't make leaders like Thatcher anymore.

  1. So many of today's leaders seem not to have reached adulthood in spite of their age.

  3. I just heard about her and Annette Funicello - both extremely great women and role models.

  4. Jan: You are so right. I think we have a right to expect adults to be in charge.

  5. Sue Hanes: I remember her in her prime and how she stood by our side when it came to dealing with the Soviet Union. I can only hope that the historians don't distort her legacy.

  6. Chatty Crone: I hadn't heard about Annette Funicello :-(

No derision was meant about your blog... just a bad pun about the packing. I enjoyed the information.

  8. Although Mrs. Thatcher has not been a political force for some time, I find myself in mourning over the passing of Margaret Thatcher.

I am mourning because we have no leaders who even begin to approach the like of this woman -- and, of course, Ronald Reagan.

Mrs. Thatcher once said that she hated to see Britain in decline. Now we see almost the entire West in decline! We need leaders!

  9. Leticia: Amen to that.

Always On Watch: Too bad Thatcher's policies were dumped. Look at what liberal policies have wrought upon Britain.
