Let's hear it for Star Trek, another great invention based on the show on earth.
The idea of a 3-D computer blows my mind, but what an incredible story in saving the baby's life. Science fiction gets less fiction-y ever day.

Cube - An amazing story. If it works then I say use it.And no - I don't know anything about the replicator you mentioned.Ignorance is bliss - so they say.
Leticia: Absolutely. Roddenberry was amazing when it came to mapping out the future.
thepoodleanddogblog: It blows my mind, too. The technology is here and I want to see it grow. Saving this baby's life is just the beginning.
Granny Annie: I tend to agree. Sue Hanes: In the original Star Trek series back in 1966, they had replicators which, at the push of a button, made any food you wanted. This is that technology in its infancy.
Cube - Where can I get one of those? : ]
alright, 3-D spam.
Sue Hanes: When they start selling them on TV infomercials and they'll sell me two of them for $19.99, I'll give you the extra one ;-)
