Cube - That one made me look twice. I'm thinking that it will make drivers look at it twice and slow down but on the other hand it will take their attention off of the road.
At any rate - I'd say it was done on purpose. It's too much to just be a typo.

That is one possibility. I don't know how that sign came to be on the road.
