    I remember her doing her lonely swims back when Chris Everett was the golden girl in tennis...so long ago.

    Jan: I remember those days as well. I used to play a lot of tennis back then. Chris and I have both hung up our rackets, but Nyad just keeps on going.

    It really was an accomplishment. I might have been able to float a few miles, but oh man, that is a long way to swim. Glad the sharks left her alone.

    Silly Rabbit: It was an amazing feat. I swim a few laps in my pool and then sit on the big inner tube and rest.
