Cat Blog Friday

For this Chinese New Year Cat Blog Friday...

... a Chinese cat.

Chinese New Year 2014: In With The Horse, Out With The Snake

Hmm, the year of the horse... mayhaps that foretells a victory for the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl?

I'm betting on it.

Happy Friday everybody!

  1. I just LOVE white cats -- even though I've never had one as my companion.

  2. I'm more of a black cat fan, but we had a very sweet white cat when I was little and it had one blue eye and one green eye... yes, it was deaf.

BTW my tortie is in the dog house... how's your tortie doing?

  3. I'm taking Manning by 3 points and I gave cats the january Golden Poodle award.

  4. Too cute. You need to link this post to the Feline Friday meme. It's purrfect.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  5. Jan: I'm betting on Manning, but I'm not that good to call points.

Cats given the January Golden Poodle... the moon must be in the seventh sky, and Jupiter and Mars have aligned ;-)

  6. Sandee: I'm glad you liked the kitty post. I have tried before and the only time it's worked was when you helped me. I hate to impose on you every week.

My email has been messed up since my husband set up some new e-mail addresses for our business. Somehow his email got associated with my blog. I still haven't fixed it. It's a Gordian knot of computerese.

  7. cube, you need to swap out your unsolvable Gordian knots with Bear Gryll's Kamikaze knots that are at risk of coming apart at the most inopportune times.

  8. Interesting article. My knowledge of the Chinese symbols is pitiful (as in non-existent). It sounds like the Year of the Horse could be more chaotic than previous years.... hard to believe, I know!

  9. Cube - What a darling Cat Blog Friday.

I'm betting on the Broncos also.
It's in the stars - and in the year of the horse.

I just hope it is a good, exciting game.

  10. DaBlade: Is that true that his knots come undone? I know who Bear Gryll is, but I don't watch his show so I don't know.

I was thinking of smearing some Boudreaux's Butt Cream on my Gordian knots and hoping they'd slip apart enough that I could decipher them ;-)

  11. Robin: Gosh, I hope the chinese are wrong (which they are when it comes to an effective system of government).

2013 was chaotic enough for me. I'm ready for some peace and quiet.

  12. Thank you for reminding me it is Chinese New Year. It is the only time the Golden Palace Restaurant in Tulsa closes and our family always forgets and parks there with our mouths all watering charging toward the door ready for their delicious food only to encounter the CLOSED FOR CHINESE NEW YEAR sign.

  13. Granny Annie: lol. My one problem is that now that it's the year of the horse, I'll be writing year of the snake on my checks for weeks!
