Facebook Tragedy

How sad can a news story get?

Woman Dies In Car Wreck Moments After Posting About 'Happy Song' On Facebook

This case happens to feature Facebook, but I see people on their cell phones, texting, putting on make-up, eating while driving and it's all bad.

Let this be a cautionary tale for all of us.

  1. I'm betting that this wasn't her first time to post. I hope there were no children left behind by these foolish actions.

  2. Yes, please let this be a cautionary tale. I fear we will read about much more of this before it is all said and done. What a shame.

  3. I agree with you on both counts. I have been known to ignore calls and/or pull over if it's an important call that I have to take.

Back in the day. it used to infuriate me when I saw people fiddling with radio dials and later CD player controls... it has gotten way worse than that.

  4. Robin: I think we'll see more of this too. It's just a bad situation getting worse.

  5. I read about this the other day. What a tragic thing to happen to one so very young.

    Have a terrific day. ☺

  6. Sandee: I have two young adult daughters and I stress the danger of texting while driving. I can only hope they get the message.
