Happy Zebra

And eye-opener from a Zimbabwen who lives around lions:

In Zimbabwe We Don't Cry For Lions

Nature red in tooth and claw.

  1. I wonder what the reaction to the PP scandal would be if they had used puppy fetuses.

  2. Animal activists have long gone after companies that used animals for product research, but because their research isn't tax payer funded they can only guilt the companies into complying. The cavalier attitude surrounding PP's ghoulish practices, which they perform with impunity because of government funding, angers many people.

  3. Yep, there are always more than one side to a story. They need to make this illegal in their country and then they wouldn't look bad at all, but then there is all that money that big game hunting provides. Better to have that then worrying about those village people that aren't important one bit. Sound familiar? I thought so.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  4. Sandee: Poaching is illegal in most of African countries, but unfortunately, there is an awful lot of bribing at work and the laws are thrown into the wind. Big game hunting provides lots of money into poor countries, but not all of it helps the animals it should be helping. This corruption is a shame because keeping these maneaters in preserves not only helps the animals but the surrounding humans as well.
