That is so true. The tales he could tell. I'd bet that nick on his ear came from another tom cat. I wonder how he fared in the fight? Some of my cats have come home more dinged up than that.
I believe there are stray cats roaming our countryside that must be that old. My good old boy Mr. T. lived to be 17. He definitely used his 9 lives and I'm sure Corduroy has as well.
That's a face that has stories to tell. Wonder how he got his ear nicked? Now THAT was probably quite a fight.
ReplyDeleteHope he has many more years - and your kitties too.

ReplyDeleteAwww, and I linked Corduroy to Feline Friday. He deserves being linked.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Feline Friday. ☺
Sandee: I just noticed that. I thought wow, how popular are you when Corduroy visits your blog ;)
ReplyDeleteHe probably slept for 24 of those years, judging from my old cat.
ReplyDeleteMy Larry the Lion cat lived to be 20- and I still miss him!
ReplyDeleteHooray for Corduroy! He's very handsome, and i hope he enjoys many more years of roaming the land.
ReplyDeleteGeez that's a long time. Go man go.

ReplyDeleteCube - Corduroy looks pretty good for being the world's oldest cat.
ReplyDeleteHappy Cat Blog Friday.
Wow that is pretty old for a cat. The oldest one I ever had lived to be 1 month short of her 20th birthday. - He's looking good for his age for sure.
