Priorities

100,000 Elephants Killed By Poachers In Just Three Years, Landmark Analysis Finds

Upon hearing about the March 2015 incident where 30 Elephants Died In A Brutal, 2-Week Slaughter , my husband said, "elephants are being poached like this and I'm supposed to care about a dick torpedo and his days long orgy?" He made further comments about Caligula, but you get the gist.

For those who don't follow the news, the 'dick torpedo' in question is Lamarr "Kardashian" Odom and his recent troubles with excess at a Nevada brothel.

I answered sarcastically, "But he has a beautiful soul," ... at least according to the many twitter posts in his defense.

Elephants and other majestic animals will be heading into the sunset of their respective species because of human greed, selfishness and excess in all things, and our news cycle basically just reports on greedy, selfish, excess-driven people. Is that all people want to read or see?

If so, where are our priorities?

  1. The national priorities are the twisted, Kardashians and their tranny father, who live depraved and vicious lives. It's manifest in the national reveling in the blood of the unborn and in the gleeful sale of baby body parts -- and electing Obama to office twice. That is who we are as a people.

  2. The media feeds us these dick torpedo stories even though I don't know anyone who cares.

  4. I would rather know about the elephants and other precious animals that have been poached since there was profit to do so. I can nothing about the Kardashians. Never have and never will. We have lost our way.

Have a fabulous day my friend. ☺

  5. Jan: You and I may not care, but there are millions upon millions who feed on this non news. It's just a matter of time before we reach the tipping point, if we haven't already. That our priorities are twisted is evident, but the question is, are our national priorities twisted beyond repair?

  6. Sandee: I get it. I know you get. I'm worried about how many others we have on our side.

  7. Sandee: Sorry, I meant "I know you get it."... I think faster than I type. I was never raised to be a typist OR a keyboarder and I'm piss-poor at both.

  8. I think I'd rather hear about almost ANYTHING but anything Kardashian-related.
And, if you'll remember, I knew their daddy quite well...and loved Robert.
But the behavior they show...based on their mother's prodding?

yes, beautiful animals like these are being killed and we're to genuflect for Odom and Caitlyn and the rest of the (pardon the expression) talentless freaks.

  9. How i would love for us to have a media that would ignore the foolish people and take up actual issues.

  10. The Kardashians are elephants. The real elephants are the beautiful ones. You can see by my statements about the Kardashians that I just hate them so much. They ruin what life is all about. Yuk.
Sorry. I hope that you have a wonderful Sunday Cube. See ya.

  12. Caligula? Seriously? :) Sorry. Forgot the word ban on that one. Seems like thes elephants would be safer in the circus.

  13. DaBlade: You're the only one who remembers that. Seriously, you're so sweet to remember that.
