I was a huge fan of the original Star Trek series as well as Next Generation. I will still stop and watch either one when channel surfing (and wife not there... she hates them). Haven't thought about Star Wars much since the original movie 40 years ago.
Sandee: What a good mom :) To my dismay, my girls are more into Star Wars than Star Trek. As I said, I like them both, but I tend to favor Trek a little more.
DaBlade: People ask me if I've always been a Trek fan. I always say, "Not always, just since September 9th, 1966." I was hooked from episode one. I'm not a fan of the new movies... what is up with the lens flares on the bridge?
As far as Star Wars goes, I liked the original three, but the later ones, not so much. I hope this new trilogy makes up for the previous mess.
My son drug me to all these things when he was little, and I gladly went. He was a serious Star Wars fan. I love Star Trek.
