If I were to throw a virtual party, what would you like to drink?
I'll go first... years ago I used to drink beer and my favorites were Bud Light, Heineken, and Moosehead. I gave up drinking beer because of evil, evil, evil carbs. Nowadays, if I drink at all, it will be be a mixed drink such as a vodka and cranberry juice or a very, very dry martini.
So, my question is what would YOU like to drink at my virtual party? Be honest.
Bell's Two Hearted Ale or a Founders All Day IPA, both brewed right here in Michigan, and both are my absolute favorite beers (and in my 'fridge right now). On golf night (Thursdays :) its Labatts Blue. I got dibs on the lampshade on my head later!

ReplyDeleteDaBlade: I've never heard of either one of those beers. I'm sure they're good, but you put the thought of Michigan popsicles in my head so I'm wary of the beer, too.

Granny Annie: I like the taste of beer, but I would definitely choose anything frozen. My Dad made the most awesome frozen daiquiris that I've ever had. He was a master bartender.

If a mixed drink:
- Black Russian
- White Russian
- Jim Beam
- Vodka, Lime Juice, Tonic Water
- Vodka and Pineapple Juice
in no particular order.
Now that I've read the comments, I like Bloody Mary also.

Then again, I choose vodka as my favorite so who am I to knock his choice of russian alcohol.. Na Zdorovie (На здоровье). I don't have any explanation as why I know the russian vernacular and the Cyrillic script. Really, I don't, but I think I want a lawyer.

ReplyDeleteI like a good black Russian, or a pina colada. Mudslides are also good. No beer. Not big on wine either, but red if I must. Have been known to drink straight rum without problems. Great way to kill toothache pain! Actually I rarely get drunk...
ReplyDeleteI've never had a black Russian or a mudslide. Pina coladas are good, I like red wine with pasta and dry white wine with fish. Rum is too sweet for me, I'd rather have a tequila shot. My tooth implant is due to be finished come mid July and when it hurts I use Orajel or Ambesol and they numb tooth or gum aches instantly. They work way better than alcohol.
