Always On Watch: Thank you. We wished each other a happy anniversary. That was the height of the celebration. Who would've thought our 35th would end up like that. Well, we'll make it up one of these days.
I watched all the fools...er announcers standing out in the rain yesterday. Unbelievable how much damage. So glad you caught a lucky break and congratulations on your anniversary.
DaBlade: Lol. We didn't lose power at all. I've seen worse with the average tropical storm. I can't explain what happened, but we were blessed because by all accounts this was a monster storm.
Jan: They always stand out in the rain, don't they? It's a badge of courage.
As to Irma's damage, I know South Florida got the brunt of it. We in Tampa got off easily in comparison. My back deck was full of branches, our yard is underwater, the pool is FULL, but the enclosure is intact. We feel blessed that we were spared this monster.
