Still Here

Tampa got a lucky break yesterday.

Thank the Lord.

Nothing like a hurricane to make you forget your 35th anniversary. We were too busy staying alive to celebrate.

  7. I watched all the fools...er announcers standing out in the rain yesterday. Unbelievable how much damage. So glad you caught a lucky break and congratulations on your anniversary.

  9. DaBlade: Lol. We didn't lose power at all. I've seen worse with the average tropical storm. I can't explain what happened, but we were blessed because by all accounts this was a monster storm.

    As to Irma's damage, I know South Florida got the brunt of it. We in Tampa got off easily in comparison. My back deck was full of branches, our yard is underwater, the pool is FULL, but the enclosure is intact. We feel blessed that we were spared this monster.
