Diversity (Heart)break Bridge
Diversity Bridge Is Breaking, My Fair Lady
FTA: "Prior to pancaking, Diversity Bridge had been championed as “an engineering feat come to life.” One of the geniuses who accomplished this “feat” is an engineer who was hailed by President Obama in 2015 as a “champion of change”: Atorod Azizinamini, director of FIU’s Accelerated Bridge Construction Center (now renamed the Accelerated Bridge Destruction Center). The firm that built the bridge, Munilla Construction Management (MCM), is run by the Munilla brothers—Raul, Juan, Jorge, Lou, Fernando, and Pedro (is that a construction firm or the latest incarnation of Menudo?). And then we have Leonor Flores, MCM’s senior manager.
“Diversity” should never trump competence.
Everything Obama praised is falling apart. Everything.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Muslim engineers and an illegal alien construction company. I can see why President Obama loved the whole concept and why the bridge collapsed.
ReplyDeleteHow long will we be captive of Obama?
ReplyDeleteSandee: Yes, but will the libs ever admit it. Being anti facts and logic makes them immune to reality.
ReplyDeleteLL: Yes, yes, yes!
ReplyDeleteJan: It depends on how many boulevards, avenues, streets, statues, and even obama added to Mount Rushmore constitutes a bit too much. I left off his footprint on the Moon, but you get the gist. I resent the snow job that facilitated the the reign of the o'godemperor.
ReplyDeleteThese people should be out of business. This is not their first failure by any means.
ReplyDeleteAlso when the bridge came down they were doing stress testing on the cable support system. Think you might want to close the highway down for that portion of the adventure?
Unreal.
Such things make me sad but not longer surprised. That makes me even more sad.

ReplyDeleteKid: it breaks my heart to think how liberal shenanigans once again kills the innocent. When will they get it?
ReplyDeleteNever.
ReplyDeleteThey were moving the expansion joints, I believe I heard. Now they are doing a similar joint replacement on the Sagamore Bridge here over the canal. Lets hope it goes better!
