A lot of blood and treasure has been expended to keep all of us free, free of collectivist schemes, and to support the Constitution. It’s proper that we take one day each year to honor them and to recall their bravery and ultimate sacrifice.
We owe a debt that can only be paid by building on their sacrifice, not resting on it.
My heart grieves for all who lost loved ones who were serving, and i am grateful beyond words for the sacrifice of those who gave all.
