Tree Fall

This happened last Friday. A piece of our old oak tree fell and messed up our deck, my she shed, and nudged a part of our neighbor's roof.

On Tuesday, our tree service came for the rest of the tree. We measured it and the circumference was 17 feet and that didn't include the missing chunck.

  1. Nobody got hurt and that's the important part. Still a pain.

    Have a fabulous day. ♥

  2. Sandee: That's the main thing. We have three cats and for most of the day we could only account for two of them. Finally Butter showed up and only then were we truly happy.

  3. Sorry to hear about that -- it's a sad thing when one of those beautiful old giants goes.

  4. Messymimi: Thankfully it went as well as it did. Just that piece of tree alone was enough
    to destroy our living room.

  5. I love trees. I have hundreds on my new property. More is better - until they get old or are struck by lightning and drop onto something important. I'm glad that your cat, Butter, was ok.

  6. LL: I love trees too. Because we have killed this majestic oak, the city of Tampa says we must now plant four new trees. I think I want to name one of them 'LL' because you love trees too.

  7. DaBlade: We have two sheds, the he shed and the she shed. Unfortunately, the roof of the she shed got banged up pretty bad by the tree. It's been raining so much that we can't get out to check. My back yard looks like a muddy pond.
