A Vampire Musical?

Morose. Joyless. Glum. Wearisome. I could've told them this was a dumb idea.

Good book. Bad idea for a musical.

  3. voracious: no, I haven't & I don't think I'd like that either. Loved the books & the movies, but I don't think it would lend itself to a musical.

rgmb: heh heh. yes, lightweight fare, certainly not substantial enough to sink your teeth into ;-)

  8. What ISN'T a musical these days. I'm personally waiting for Tom Clancy or Thomas Harristo make it to broadway. Perhaps Sir Anthony will reprise his role as Hannibal and enact a musical number entitled "Fava beans and a nice chianti, thftftftftft!"

  9. I read where reviewers are disparaging Lestat with puns such as "bloody awful," "sucked of life" and the "kiss of death."

What were Ann Rice, Elton John, & Bernie Taupin thinking when they came up this lame notion?
