Snow Job

Conservative pundit Tony Snow has been appointed the new White House press secretary.

I can't say I'm sad to see Scott McClellan go. He's probably a nice man, but his "deer-in-the-headlights" look and inability to think fast made him an ineffective press secretary.

I wish Tony all the best.

  1. And I am gonna take your word for it;)
Snow reminded me of my morning today, when I woke up and looked outside my window. I´d rather vote for sombody that is called Rose-pedal Summer. Any such candidates out there? :)

  2. Is it just me, or does Snow have a really big head?

  3. minka: you, and you alone, may call him Sunny Snow. I don't think he'll mind ;-)

phoenix: nope, it's not just you. His head looks pretty big to me too. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

  4. His head is so huge because he's damn near the smartest man alive. Snow's pretty sharp.

It's very sad news. Mornings just won't be the same without his radio show playing in my car.

  5. I don't think Tony Snow will have trouble thinking quickly or being able to respond well to the press.
He better gird up his loins. He's heading into an adverse situation. "Them's fightin' words!!"
    I wish him well too.

  6. tlm: radio's loss is the White House's gain.

j.d.: adverse situation is an understatement. I think if he stays healthy, he'll do just fine.

  7. Seeing the WH go through (ie chew up, spit out) so many press secretaries, it makes you wonder how that chick on The West Wing has been able to last so long! :)
