From Yahoo News comes
this story about a woman eating at a Burger King restaurant in the Netherlands who found a live frog in her salad.
Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad quoted the customer, identified as 23-year-old Astrid Roek, as saying "it was a big black thing, a frog or a toad."
Well at least it didn't happen in Florida.
I'd take a frog over a finger or something, I guess. Still, yuck.

ReplyDeleteIt says in the article that people aren't as litigious in the Netherlands as they are in the U.S. I think the woman may receive free salad for a year as compensation ;-)

At least it wasn't a Wendy's, they need a break from the whole "inedible and disgusting added toppings in the food" situation.

ReplyDeleteJust last week, our family was sitting in the family room and just talking. A centipede fell from the air vent and landed at my son's feet. We all hopped up to see what it was, and my son said that had it landed on his bare feet, he would have had a hissy fit. It was kinda of freaky and funny at the same time.
