Half And Half

This rare two-toned lobster, which looks as though it is half-cooked, was caught in Maine. According to this article the odds of finding a half-and-half lobster are 1 in 50 million to 100 million. By comparison, the odds of finding a blue lobster are about 1 in a million.

Who knew?

  13. You should see these crabs that are in the Gold Coast hinterland behind O'Rielly's. Everything is rainforest colour and brown and green and then these bright blue crabs cross the path in front of you.

    Kinda surreal....

  14. Raggedy/Cube: Phoenix also posted the pic, so folks might have seen it there. I think it's actually a lobster who forget to apply sunscreen to half of his body!

  15. Looks like a lobster-cyborg.

Most likely, it is a flip-flopper, and hates being labeled "blue" or "red".
Probably a McCain voter. I hope they threw it back in the water.
