McKinney Out

McKinney Loses Runoff For Georgia Seat

Attorney Hank Johnson, a former county commissioner, won the nomination with 59 percent of the vote, surpassing McKinney by more than 11,000 votes.

Thank goodness!

I don't know Johnson from Adam, but he can't possibly be as unqualified as Cynthia McKinney.

  3. Could this be the start of a trend? As far as I'm concerned throw the bums out! Our elected officials have wasted too much time and money!

  4. Well, she made a fool out of herself with her dramatic arguing when she was stopped and questioned in DC. I agree, most of the incumbents are due for replacement.

  6. Some incumbents, like McKinney, are due for replacing, but not all of them.

  7. Heh. She can always console herself by punching a white cop. Stick it to the man, McKinney!

She of course blames the "man" for her loss...

  8. brooke: It isn't just McKinny. Her aides & staff act like common thugs with reporters, too. They behave in uncivilized ways and then they place the race card.
