'Tis The Season

One of these contraptions would come in handy right now. The cold started with the oldest daughter and now has spread to all of us.

  7. You poor thing!

Have you tried those Shower Soothers? You put them on the floor of the shower and they fizzle and release vapors or something into the air and you breathe them. I don't know why it works, but even if it's just a placebo effect we've found that they really make us feel better!

May your hat be loaded with quilted...

  8. oh dear, i've been suffering with this for two solid weeks!

i'll make little flowerettes out of tissue and put the stem of it up my nostrils and it looks like i have a carnation bouquet hanging out of my proboscis and say to my family, "uhm, you don't mind if i go around the rest of the day looking like this do you?"

    they know the answer...

alka seltzer plus and mucinex is the only things i've found that will do battle with this dreaded thing. i thank God i'm the only one, so far, who's had it in the family. of course, i've been pushing vitamin c on them for two months! guess i should have taken my own advice...oh boo..

  9. Nanc- It's the infamous "Mommy Martyr Syndrome"! I suffered from MMS until I got pneumonitis, after that I decided if the care giver doesn't take care of herself, she can't take care of anyone else!

  12. I entitled my post \"\'Tis the Season\" too!! I\'m so glad you put the apostrophe before the T in \'Tis, because often people forget that little feller.
It\'s good to be back visiting my blog buddies!! I have missed your funny photos and political observations.
Have a merry & blessed Christmas.

My daughter has had a lot of sinus troubles over the years. She could really use of those TP hats.
